First of all, here's some of the facts:

>Selen prepped a bunch of gifts for the JPs that she's collabed with (like Nagao)
>This also includes Kanae
>When Kanae received Selen's gift, he was embarassed about not having anything at hand to gift her
>He gave her one of his personal belongings in return
>Later on his stream he said it was precious to him, perhaps even expensive, and that he really liked it (the thing he gave to her)
>Of course, some of his fans were pissed by that for obvious reasons. Also remember yumejos are the most psychotic cunts in these fandoms.

Now here's the rrat:
Someone from Niji's higher ups caught wind of this.
Kanae is one of the biggest males in the company, angering his fans will result in significant loss in profits.
They assigned Selen with a shitty manager, perhaps someone who is instructed to purposefully inconvenience her whenever they can to make her quit. (eg miscommunicating with higher management, sitting on perms she's asking, etc). Also remember Zaion had the same manager with Selen at that time.
Basically they're trying to appease the bloodthirsy yumejos, but Selen held on to her job for way longer than they expected. The bullying escalated way out of proportion due to how long it's been going and culminated in her hospitalization- where they saw fit to terminate her.
