>>68828818Kson left for two big reasons that she stated, as well as certain things we can reasonably guess at. First, she was tired of being harassed by the Chinese constantly. The fuckup where the Chinese got appointed as her mods was sort of the straw that broke the camel's back.
Second, Hololive was shitcanning a lot of her projects. In particular, she said she'd been soft-blocked from doing her Asacoco live because they were petrified of another yab after the Taiwan incident. Reddit Meme Review was also having problems because of permissionfagging - they would not let her use any images in the review other than ones her fans had drawn.
One of her greatest skills and assets as a Holomem was her ability to do fun collaborative projects, and when Cover softbanned her from doing so (in part due to fear of Chinese harassing anyone she collabed with, and in part due to fears of another yab that never materialized) it essentially wasted that ability and potential. And on top of that, someone (either her manager, Cover management, or Omegatranny) was also disallowing her from collabing with EN which also further damaged her.
When you add all this up together, on top of Cover taking a big chunk of her income, it's unsurprising she got fed up and chose to leave. I thought and still think it was a mistake and waste for Cover to let her go as she was a great asset to the company; they should have negotiated and given ground on some of the issues she was having, particularly on the projects.
