>>69217409>Author's note: I wasn't the one shitposting, I thought it was a fun idea reading the posts after the stream.Despite your best efforts, you were fighting a losing battle. Shiori had ignored your sincere apologies with a turn of the head, blowing up one cheek in a pout, her eyes closed, refusing to even acknowledge you. "Shiori, I'm sorry, I didn't mean it. Please forgive me," you begged again, hoping that you'd get through to her, but her arms remained crossed. Shiori was closing herself off to you. "Shiori p-," you went to repeat yourself, but Shiori wasn't having any of it. "I don't want to hear it anon," Shiori declared, turning her back to you and walking out of the room, her last words bringing you to your knees. "Don't follow me."
You were unsure of how much time had passed. When you began your apologies, it was nearing nightfall and now it was pitch black outside. Unable to hold it in, you let out a yawn and wonder if Shiori had calmed down enough to let you into the bedroom. You had ascertained that's where she was when she slammed the door after her earlier exit. As if on cue you hear the door to your room creak open from down the hallway and the light pitter patter of footsteps grows closer. Then, you see her. Face flushed, eyes slightly red, dried tear streaks visible on her cheeks. She was holding a pillow and blanket. Your pillow and blanket.
Shiori tosses the items onto the couch and stands over you, you see her contemplate her words carefully as she looks down at you with disdain. "Tonight, you sleep out here," she orders, pointing toward the pillow and blanket she placed moments earlier. You attempt to protest, but she presses a finger to your lips, cutting you off before you start. "Not tonight, I'm still upset." Observing your facial expression, Shiori takes a deep breath and sighs before bringing her face closer to yours. Removing her finger from your lips she lightly brushes her own across yours in a faint kiss, her lips barely touching yours, leaving you wondering if you really got a kiss or not.
"Goodnight," Shiori says, turning on her heel and walking out of the room once more, leaving you again with your thoughts. You hear the door to your bedroom close, but this time much softer. You lie down on the couch, covering your body with the blanket and stare up at the ceiling. It's just a momentary setback, you'll continue to make it up to Shiori again tomorrow, showing her she can trust you. As you close your eyes to sleep, you ponder what she'd most like for breakfast, you intend to surprise her with something nice, comforted by the fact that Shiori doesn't completely loathe you, you drift off sleep feeling a little lonelier and slightly uncomfortable, but not depressed.
