>>69602949Managing streamers is a really low-overhead endeavor. There's very little you actually have to do or spend money on as the company. (Unless you bankroll literally everything like Idol. Hololive is also a bit different because, at this point, they are essentially a whole media production company.)
To give you an idea VShojo takes none of their talents' on-stream revenue, and only makes money from merch and sponsors which they organize. The merch cut to the company is <50% by the way.
With only that much, they are able to offer an "allowance" to the talents to be used for commissions/projects, tech support, and free mental healthcare services in addition to your standard management stuff.
I would also lump in their tech development but I have a feeling that's where the venture capital is going.
There isn't ANY good reason for all these companies to take as much as they do. The talents do most of this shit themselves.
