It's not really crazy, considering the state of education and mass media in the past 10-15 years or so. Why don't other corpos have their own A-chan? Seems like such an obvious thing to do. Give a staff member a model and have them interact publicly with the talents. Helps humanize the faceless corporate and makes people appreciate the work of the staff behind the scenes.
