>>7164365>>7164473I've interviewed people for positions before, and while people who are clearly enthusiastic about the company always had a notable advantage (and the fact they did research about the company beforehand serves as a good indicator that they care enough to at least do that much), I've also had candidates who weren't super familiar with our company or product but who clearly had talents/skills/experience from other industries that were valuable specifically because they didn't just think the same way every candidate from our industry did.
You can't expect that every single person should be intimately familiar with what you do, or else you have the potential to become more and more insular as a company. It's entirely possible for Irys to have knowledge and experience in singing, and to do research on Vtubing, while not being particularly familiar with the content of Hololive specifically, and to still offer the most as a candidate for a cross-language singer and entertainer.
