Personally I think the Minecraft streams after Council's debut are still among the best HoloEN content of all time. I agree that not every stream should be a collab, but I wish we could go back to those times where Promise had the time to jump on each others' streams once in a while.

I don't think they are, all Tempus 2 is in Japan now. 90% sure they're doing 3D shit. In all honesty, at least early one the NijiJP males weren’t THAT bad. They kept to themselves more far more than they do now. Usually it was Minecraft where you saw the most coed collabs. With NijiEN, Luxiem just came along and completely made every girls’ stream about themselves. There was no quarter for the girls to interact with just the other girls. They and future NijiEN males took it beyond even what JP was doing. That’s what the homobeggars wanted for HoloEN: to be harassed by males constantly with little room for themselves.

I watched a lot of Nijisanji in 2018-2019. There just wasn’t as many coed collabs as there are now. This time period the girls ruled the roost before the males turned the company into a cock festival. Hajime saying shit about Kizuna Ai effectively made him radioactive for a long while to the other streamers. As for Raito, he was fired before anything could be said. Luxiem is the equivalent of hiring 5 Raitos and letting them harass the girls however they please.

Is very simple. IRyS sole distinguishing factor is she is a top singer, but there are already a bunch over on JP who are top singers. You need something different to pull in a crowd.

Brave didn't just buy VSPO, they also divested from Gamebu (long ago) and now from Aogiri High School (their spinoff) to cut the final tie with their past.
The equivalent for Nijisanji would be buying (let's say) Phase Connect and divesting from NijiEN

This is why I assume the decision to go public was motivated purely by the desire to cash out big. Anycolor/Nijisanji is not the kind of venture that is backed by long term plans or a coherent revenue structure. They had years to develop those things but didn't, and went public anyway.

If the solution to find good male vtubers is to completely forego the "vtubing" part and just go for a kpop boy band the male vtuber market is even more dead than I thought
