near fluent listening and can understand most streams unless they mumble, but can't read at all. forget kanji, can't even read any kana. memorizing a bunch of symbols seems like such a chore so cba to waste time learning

How come /vt/ isn't allowed to have a Japanese practice thread?

I know kana and some kanji but I don't know how to break into actually speaking/listening aside from Tae Kim and 100+ hours of listening.
