>>7313661What's annoying is that the discords CAN be useful.
I'm part of three.
One was worse than useless. Users attempting to doxx each other, cause trouble in other people's streams... It was pretty much unmoderated, and used for leeching viewers in your next 'secret leak'
Second has ~30,000 users. It's helpful for specific questions in the help/advice general threads, and I've got one/two viewers out of it. But everyone there is just shilling themselves without direction.
Third one is REALLY helpful. There's about 250 users, and it was set up by people to get them over the hump into Partner. But to do that, they're actively networking with the smallfry, hanging out in their chats, raiding each other, providing solid technical help.
Ideally, you'd keep it small, have >100 streamers. Run a daily lottery, anyone in the discord who's streaming that day can enter. If they win, then everyone else who's streaming that day should raid them. Work together as a team to push each person up the rankings - a daily focus is MUCH better for improving visibility than everyone just dumping their links into the 'promotion' section on a discord. Think of Krimbo signal boosting every other /here/ chuuba. All it takes is one person making it semi-big, and passing on the followers around and everyone gets a bonus.
The problem is that all chuubas streaming at the same time are in direct competition with each other, and you end up with a crab bucket. Sure, you can watch two streams on twitch to count for both of them... But can you really watch two at the same time and pay attention?
