>>72922157I know this isn't going to be popular, but I will never understand the belief on this reddit that everything the girls do is always perfect and there's never a situation that they could have handled better. This is especially silly when they themselves have already accepted some fault.
I remember watching ame/kiara/gura in their early minecraft streams all on the same day, and noticing all three have the same interaction but handling it very differently (I never chat personally, so this is purely observation):
Chat spams eat.
Gura says "I know I need to eat but I have no food!" And laughs about not having food.
Kiara eats and thanks chat for reminding her because she didn't notice, and jokes about being birb brain.
Ame gets angry at chat for backseating.
People throw around the word "toxic", but a more accurate description of the problem imo is "confrontation". You don't want an adversarial relationship between the streamer and the chat, but that's what ame creates sometimes. Then the problem is inevitably amplified many times over when the white knight types pile in to shut down the back-seaters, breaking the chat rules themselves in the process, and the whole chat turns into a brawl of people that aren't even watching the stream anymore.
