Any business that doesn't reinvest during a growth phase back into the product that made them relevant is doomed in the long run.
Anycolor was ran with the purpose of increasing profit margins to look like a runaway techspace project to pull in speculative investors. The speculation had to give way for reality eventually.

The JP branch is still very strong and influential, it's the EN branch that has failed spectacularly in many aspects. So far every one of Anycolor's foreign branches has collapsed utterly eventually, and it looks not-impossible for EN now to go the way of their ID branch.

Thing is I would think Anycolor would think it would look bad for investors to pull out of foreign markets, because they can't really use the foreign expansion pitch for investors anymore especially after going "welp we did try that... and failed, like four times now.." so might force EN to be around in a zombie state just for business. I don't know how much more damage EN's poor reputation can do to their stock really but we'll see.

It's so funny how all of Holo's JP talents are beloved and promoted by EN fans and channels

Every JP Holoanimation has subtitles or an english channel with mirrored uploads, and every EN animation has subtitles or a JP channel with mirrored uploads

Every popular JP moment is translated and spread among EN (Sometimes entire streams)

EN fans get excited for collabs with JP talents, even if it means they won't understand a word of the stream

On the other hand, the only person I remember seeing in that picture is the gay neon clown lmao

I can't imagine how badly it stings for Niji for all their foreign expansion efforts withered like a dead vine while the one time Cover had to close a foreign branch it was because of a political snafu and to this day we do not let the Chinese forget it.
