You to research where you want to move, research potential neighborhoods to move into, and have an agent (if needed) to help with scoping out a place where you want to move. Most of the moving process happens before the actual move. Once you've picked a place, that's when you start the process of figuring out what you're taking, what you're getting rid of, and the day you have to move out, usually after you've finished your lease agreement so you can then move into your next place. Rushing this part is a fucking nightmare, and I really don't recommend doing that. Getting everything over to your new place is part of the process, along with set up, replacing anything you have gotten rid of (like tvs), and setting up services and potential repairs, and last I've checked, service guys have been dragging their asses to address any issues.
So it takes months of prep work to actually move. The primary step is something that more or less has been finalized after her trip with the Watson family after FES.
