When she first debuted, she played up the kayfabe because she was new at vtubing, the EN scene was small and so there wasn't many to emulate, so she just played into the character because what else was she going to do? Then, as she got bigger and made more connections outside of vtubing, it was almost like she was embarrassed of her success. She started adopting an ironic "bro" persona as if to distance herself from the "cringe" of being a vtuber.
I'd argue her current, more feminized phase, is simply a result of growing more comfortable in the role. She isn't embarrassed to be a vtuber now, she no longer sees Hololive as a stepping stone to something greater, but rather an end into itself, and she's loving the job and her fans more than ever.
Is this her final form? Who knows. We can only watch and see where she goes from here.
