>>74552694This is because the term you are using is a loaded term. The term "Jew" being used for both an ethnic group and religion's followers is a tragedy in this language. "European Jew" as you are using it can mean either: ethnic Jews who live in Europe or people who follow the Jewish faith/traditions who live in Europe.
For the first case: European Jews who are ethnic Jews cannot be White. I cannot just move to Asia and become Asian just like that, for example. This is the same case.
For the second case: If ethnic Jews bred with White people and had descendants far enough down to be considered White, but follow Judaism/Jewish traditions, these are also European Jews (if we use the term you used). This is the group you are referring to. These are White. They are not ethnic Jews anymore as that blood was bred out. Lumping them with the European Jew (because of Jewish faith/traditions term is what causes confusion). They are religiously Jewish and act like Jews, but are White.
(There is also a third case of a White European just converting to Judaism that may also get this name too, but that's pretty rare these days).
