unpopular opinion but I don't think pekomama is that attractive or worthy of attention.

It's fine, but it's also clearly turned into a fad for easy views.
It's cool that some parents are supportive of their kids, but at the same time the kids probably shouldn't just be farming out their families for content. I couldn't tell you where the line in the sand is, though.

Yeah, that's why it's difficult to call out or find clear lines. I do think that some families are being paraded around for views, but at the same time, there's been way unhealthier fads exploited for views than "hey guys my mom's gonna help me make food".

As actual on-stream content it's shit by default. Mother's of vtubers aren't streamers, they aren't entertainers, they aren't what people are showing up for. Good for a one-off bit, and that's it.
I hope it keeps happening though because Holomoms is some of the best coomer content that's come out of Hololive in ages.
