I believe that the decline of both Nijisanji and Hololive has benefited Phase Connect significantly. The faults with Nijisanji are clear: mistreating talent and terminating or losing them for questionable reasons, just to see them resurface elsewhere, happier, has turned off some fans. Just as bad, Hololive has had situations that have harmed its reputation, and the excessive advertising has turned off viewers. It no longer feels like a casual streaming experience, but rather a reminder that they are "Virtual Idols," which I am not interested in. I prefer Vtubers for their independence, chaos, fun, and nerdiness. This is an area where Phase Connect thrives. Sakana's enthusiasm for Vtubing, rather than money, is clear in the way he handles the agency.
