theyre getting their 3D whether they hit the collective 2.5mil or not
they just want to feel more like they earned it and have it coincide with a milestone or something.
they're less than 320k away
and if you want to count the DEV_IS channel they're less than 20k away
they just need something big to boost them and get them more visible to the rest of the hololive fanbase
that alone is a huge reason to NOT classify them as a whole separate branch. it's a massive fucking debuff
