>>74456577That's some interesting stuff in terms of the fighters. I can see how that makes a lot of sense.
And you're also right, in that they for sure put way too much effort on Vtuber models before the buildup of their other important skills.
I can actually attest to two different 2view indies I've been keeping my eye on (made anonymous for the purposes of both this story, and my own place in their communities in case they see this somehow), who each have had a similar event happen in regards to their models, but handled it entirely differently.
The first:
>Vtuber Studio was fucking up for them for some reason>in response, they struggled to try and fix it for a while, but when they couldn't manage it, they gave up and put the stream off for the night to try and work on fixing itThe second:
>similar issue, computer or phone running heavy or something, causing her to not be able to use her model >in response, she used a piece of art she had commissioned with her design, which she rigged with a very simple mouth movement animation that would play when it detected her talking, and continued the stream from then onThe reliance on model in the first case, and the willingness to work within their circumstances for the second, exhibited to me, the difference between someone who still needs to learn the fundamentals, and someone who has a solid grasp on how to run a successful stream.
