>>78023338>>78023496I think you think I'm claiming that AI translation is bad somehow - I'm not, it's quite good already and will only get better, but even a "perfect" translation will miss a ton of nuance in word meanings, tone, formality, etc; there's very little that's truly one-to-one from one language to another and being able to understand the original speech or writing as it is without having to equate it to another language will always be better than a translation
