>>8149344>I wish Gooruh sang something that actually has a good storyAh, you want to talk history. Okay. Here's a bit - the Swiss pikemen were universally feared in Renaissance Europe. They were superb soldiers, and were often mercenaries. They were always expensive. They were always expensive because when they would start moving as an unit, and advance towards the opposing force with their halberds or whatever the English word is, they would not stop. It was common for armies to break since antiquity, and the slaughter starts then, not while they are in formation. Anyway - the Swiss would not break. They would not stop. And their enemies knew it. Ergo it was common for armies to simply refuse to fight and abandon the field if they realized the opposing side used Swiss mercenaries. Keep in mind that the mere sight of an army advancing towards you, be it in ancient Greece or in Renaissance Europe, with spears pointed towards you and looking like a hedgehog of sorts is terrifying, because you will inevitable start to IMAGINE what will happen to you within the next ten minutes or so. It is demoralizing, it is fear itself. Historical records tell us how men would literally shit themselves in fear at such sights.
In other words I am mocking you and your assumptions about my knowledge and simply wanted to point out that in certain regions of the world there is nothing "meme" about certain things, ergo an example from Croatian history.
