If I'm on my computer, I have several monitors so I'd rather use the entire screen if possible instead of barely 1/3rd of a single one. (and I have to change the url to "watch" so I don't get the awful shorts web UI, but that's a minor issue)
If I'm using a phone, I can't even use PiP or lock the screen due to how Youtube functions with shorts video/streams, even with Youtube Premium, ReVanced, etc...
I often listen to streams while commuting to work, and I can't do that with shorts.
I understand why Holos are using it so much, but it's a real pain.
