>Is there actually a proven health downside to aspartame/splenda and other diet sweeteners or is it all schizoshit? There's actual cancer risks, but the chance of developing cancer is so small it may as well not exist. The real problem with diet sweeteners is they make you hungrier and stimulate hunger pangs. This is because most sweeteners are VERY close to sugars but with an extra carbon tail making them unable to bond together with insulin. Normally when you consume sugars, your blood gets pumped full of insulin so it can bond together with the sugars in your blood to break down into usable energies. However, with the extra tail attached, insulin cannot bond with the sweetener, causing it to be peed out and become "technically sugar free". The problem however is that your blood now has this huge spike of insulin in it and it NEEDS something to pair up with, so your body begins making you crave CARBS just to get rid of it.
This is why you see fatties order a huge meal only to end with a "diet cock", not because they're actually on a diet, but because to them it "tastes better" due to the aforementioned spike of insulin.
>What currently-purchasable phone on the mainstream market have the best battery life?Check the specs of any smartphone. It should list a battery section in the specs and look like (1000 mAh). What you want for longer battery life is to have this number be as high as possible. Mine is ~ 5000mAh from what I remember, and it lasts for four days.
