Getting rid of the employees they have is almost certain to happen but the problem is those dumb fuck suits DON'T MAKE GAMES. So in the end they'll kill themselves off.
Now you might say "Ok but they can outsource" That's another point they've fucked themselves on.
They've gone all in on Indian outsourcing but this has led to a very dangerous situation. You see Indians are both incredibly narcissistic and egotistic regardless of intelligence.
So what's happened is as the Indians feel more and more confident they know everything they leave the current company they work for to make their own. They then hire new Indians who are dumber than they are(or they'll be taken over). So over the years the quality has been dropping that we've had moments like GTA Defecation Edition happen because the quality of outsourcing has dropped hard.
Combine this with the current price of AAA games day 1 going up and what you're seeing is people walking away as they're essentially being asked to buy Sonic 06 or worse for $70(soon to be $80).
The suits might live but they can't make games for shit. Getting rid of the devs will kill them.
