We'd be very, VERY early in the Rome cycle if you want to do that comparison.
The /hlg/-/hlgg/ split is more compatible with the migration from Troy to Italy than anything later in the Empire, with the early months where the only rules were
>rely on Sharkmeido to be on for moderationwas equivalent to the era of Kings setting the foundations of Rome. /qa/ raiding would be the closest equivalent to the first Barbarian sack of Rome back in the very, very early era, around the beginning of the Republic, which prompted reform and changes in Rome itself to more resemble the Republic era, which would be the move to /vt/. The era of our complete, utter dominance of the board would be the start, then the slow trend towards not being an outright, simplistic majority over the last few months would be the equivalent of the Plebian protest on the Mount to have more representation in the Republic, which ended in them having some power, but practically having the Patrician class of founding families still on top, just not with the most obvious, simplistic form of power.
That's as far as you can go with this, I think, as someone who can speak to Roman history.
