Ceres has to either leak on a roommate she's single and conveniently have it spread around organically (like someone just-so-happened to notice here), or say in a zatsudan she's single just by ""accident"" even if it is a pure lie. Same with Mumei. I don't even care if they're lying, in fact I expect them to - because they need to keep up the kayfabe, and it's bad for Cover's image to just let these things float unanswered. EN1 did not have this kind of thing going besides a flutter with Ame that slayed itself the same day. We DO NOT have that kind of exhaust vent here so far so I think the girls actually need to address it. You can tell Kiara wanted to damage control hard for Mumei but can't directly-directly go there, it's on her to tackle it.
Sort of like even with Matsuri's yab she still immediately tried to dispel it as a burglar (as unlikely/stupid as that is), she would never have just left it out there like a booger on her face as like "welp, oops you saw it". Mumei and especially Ceres have big fucking boogers on their faces and need to pick them off.
