What's your opinion on the "idol" structure of Hololive?

Obviously, they don't follow traditional idol standards all that much, but they still do stuff like concerts and original songs, even with some of the Westerners like Kiara and Mori. Personally, I think it's the main thing that puts them above the Nijis. It gives them some form of "goal" to work towards, and gives them all a reason to collab together and help each other out, rather than just being a bunch of scattered streamers that leave smaller fish to suffocate.

It's kind of like the difference between Naruto and Fairy Tail. Naruto wanted to become the Hokage, and he wouldn't shut up about it, so we watched him knowing he was working towards that goal, and looking forward to when he finally reached it. Meanwhile in Fairy Tail, Natsu doesn't really have an overarching goal to reach, so all the questing and fights feel kinda soulless, since it doesn't feel like they're making progress towards anything.
