>>87498309this is my first time seeing your channel, and I'll give you credit, it's a pretty good first impression! Skipped around a random VOD and you were always keeping banter and convo going, you have an energetic personality and a decent voice. Schedule is in the description, didn't have to dig around for it at all, and if you're keeping to it (looks like you are from the VOD record) then it's SOLID. Twitch tends to algo-boost channels that stream at least 4 hours or more, so hitting that full timeslot is something I'd try to keep up if you're able to. Socials all easily linked on the twitch desc, twitter is active but could probably use more clips? but that's being nitpicky. Honestly, you're not falling into any of the beginner traps I normally see people fall into, you've got a good thing going and you have all the pieces in place to grow. The only main thing I could recommend is to start socializing/interacting/collabing with people from outside of this circle, it'll help get your name out there and unless I was getting lucky with where in the VODs I was picking I can't imagine that won't help you.
>>87498391I've heard that you have some prior experience with content creation and it shows, you came out the gate solid and clearly knowing what you were doing, your content is solid and you know it, so lets get nitpicky with everything else.
Your schedule is solid with consistant days and (hopefully) consistant times, due to twitch algo shit I would recommend you try to hit 4 hours whenever you can, but I get that work/life limits that. As for socials, your youtube is doing good! I'd keep up the shorts as long as you can, maybe upload them to tiktok too just for the chance at extra spread, but that is really hit or miss.
Your twitter isn't bad at all, but i would recommend you pin your best clip, since that's what people see when they check your profile. you HAVE a good set of edited content right now, I'd cherry pick the best ones and get those on twitter periodically. For twitter-algo sake, you don't really wanna be making a *lot* of tweets, you'd rather make fewer that perform better, so don't make yourself tweet stuff out unless you want it out there.
The only other thing I'd recommend is the same as before, you should network outside of this group, it'll help get yourself out there and you've already avoided a lot of the newbie pitfalls. keep being awesome man
>>87498726ok! this is my first time seeing the channel, first impression is that you have a smooth voice and you're making an effort to keep talking and filling dead air, which is good! I do think you should work on talking about things other than whats happening in the game that you're playing. what did you do that day? if nothing interesting, did you see something interesting online? talk about it, share your opinions on it, compare it to other things, etc. Stuff like this sets a foreground for the gameplay and baits lurkers to chime in and give opinions/discussion too. you gotta keep at least a moderate level of energy, you sound like you're about to pass out in all 3 VODs that I went through, and if you talk about stuff and get into it it helps keep that energy up.
I also really recommend dressing up your twitch channel a bit. Make overlays, panels, get your links set up etc. I made all my overlays in GIMP for $0, you don't need to spend money, just make it look like you put in effort. It's an instantaneous judgement made by a viewer, if they enter a stream where it looks like effort was made, they'lll be more willing to stick around because it'll look like it must be "worth it", you know?
There's other improvements to be made but I'd focus on these first, practice and keeping up the schedule is going to help a lot!
>>87498737oh hey i've seen you in chat, never checked out your stream before! First impression is that your branding is solid, there's clearly good effort put into the scenes/layout and its nice. The main thing I notice from the few VODs I went through is that you like playing complicated horrible games (like mahjong), yet neither explain the mechanics in a way they make sense to outsiders nor banter/talk over them where understanding the game doesn't matter. You gotta pick one brother (I am partial to the banter route) (because that's what I do lol). Other than that you've got a decent voice, I'd just focus on trying to keep convo going.
>>87498820Silence, vtweeter (jk, I love your games). If you get back into streaming, I'd recommend saving the streams for playtesting/running through your games that you've made offstream, that way you have more to talk about and you'll be adding features onto an existing framework that viewers will be able to immediately see. programming on stream and keeping convo flowing is hard, trust me I know lol
(I'm gonna continue going through these later when I have more time, thank you for the responses guys!)
