Marie and Shannon feel like guarantees given that they've even put their cover channels on hiatus. It's understandable if you have reasons to quit streaming, especially at this time of the year, but announcing you won't be working on any covers at any time for the foreseeable can only be explained if you're putting that energy elsewhere.

Hana Flores and Lyrica are far more questionable. Personally, I wouldn't be surprised if only one or neither of these two end up in Wave 3. I know there's a rrat that Hana could have been scouted from KawaiiPro, but her and Lyrica are far more questionable.

Kani Kanizawa, an Atelier indie from the UK, announced indefinite hiatus. She was friends with Rosemi's previous life and at least acquainted with Pomu. Rosemi still interacts with her on her NijiEN account.
Not the likeliest candidate because she gave a reason for her hiatus that doesn't involve reincarnation and promised to be back. Usually when chuubas go corporate they just avoid the topic since misleading your indie fans is kind of shitty and counterproductive. Still, probably as or more likely than Hana Flores.
Speaking of Hana, there are a couple of things that made me think she is a bit more likely but I won't post them for reasons.

I was moreso speaking to the possibility that Nijisanji scouted KawaiiPro's most talented singer and also one of the most prolific self-made Indies for the same wave.

They're both perfectly fine streamers imo. Hana never leaned into GFE she was just a pretty seiso streamer, and Lyrica might be an ESL but she can be entertaining in more languages than pretty much everyone that browses /vt/. She's good at what she does. She wouldn't be an inspiration to practically every SEA V-Tuber if she was vapid and uninteresting.

Some rrats from other places that I cannot remember tied had Hana as someone Nijisanji picked out without an audition.

As for Lyrica, she is graduating and as said has heavily hinted at joining. She is great friends with Elira, Pomu and Rosemi and of course, her BFF Shannon is also joining. Why would she quit after just getting her memberships out this month?

And as others have said, Lyrica has been talking a LOT about Nijisanji recently, including basically just going "I'd love to join Nijisanji", while also heavily suggesting she's reincarnating somewhere and basically stating it isn't Hololive (and obviously the timing doesn't match there anyway).
I'd also take the fact that HoloID 1 has been talking more to NijiEN as evidence. I could see her telling them "Hey, talk to NijiEN more so when I reincarnate there it isn't as weird for you to talk to me all of a sudden".

I hate to talk about Holos in a Niji thread, especially dox, but I don't think that's proof. "Some people started commenting on and messaging me over an old tweet, so I deleted it and then locked my account" makes just as much sense if she's unrelated. Maybe more, since if it was her just ignoring it or locking your account in the first place makes more sense.
I'm sure there's other reasons to believe it's her, but that alone isn't anything.

Yes, I've read the rrat that Hana could have been a scouted member due to people allegedly talking about one of the wave 3 characters being taken. I don't have any evidence of any of it though so it would need a lot of stars aligning to be true. She is by far the least likely candidate.

You could be right with Lyrica though. It'll just be weird seeing her as anyone but Lyrica. It's like seeing a homegrown and loyal member of a sports team in a different jersey - it doesn't feel right and needs a lot more time to adjust to.

Kani's just going on hiatus because she's busy and workplaces are now opening up again and forcing people to commute to work. I think Lola understood that she wasn't going to grow as much with the Indie scene being a slaughterhouse right now. It doesn't feel right but it is the best move that she could make for herself and the community as a whole because she would put PH vtubing in the spotlight more than ever. I also don't think Lola would abruptly stop along with Shannon without a reason. To me, she is as near a lock as Marie and Shannon.

About half and half on Hana because as a post shows, her TL lines up but if there was one that we expected but did not get, it would be her.

That timeline is from KiwiFarms and the original post assumes that the rumours of everyone who auditioned for the ghost girl never getting their audition looked at is true.

So the timeline is assuming that:
A) Nijisanji were aware of Hana Flores.
B) Hana was scouted before auditions closed.
C) People genuinely weren't getting responses for the ghost girl.

That's a lot of moving parts that need to come together for it to be true. Even though the rrat is sensible, it isn't realistic.

So if you take that at face value, it's unlikely Nijisanji had given anyone a place in Wave 3 at that time, and also implies she had another reason to graduate. It made a LOT more sense for her to have been a Holo, but she didn't show there either.

Lyrica, Shannon, and Marie, only announced their graduations like a week ago and one of them is yet to even graduate, so that's when people started speculating that Hana could have been contacted early.

Eh, it's probably nothing too bad.
Hana likes Coco and Marine from Hololive. She posted about them on twitter in May. After that there are no mentions of individual Hololive members, even during Coco's graduation. That more or less lines up with what I've seen on Rosemi's and Selen's previous life twitters with their Hololive and Nijisanji related likes being purged after a certain point.
Hana's genmates were also a bit more open about interacting with Nijisanji even though they mostly contain themselves to the startup contacts. Reina Sun replied to Elira and Rosemi this week and was in Elira's twitcast last night. That's about all the public interactions Kawaii had with NijiEN. Isla, who was a known Nijisanji fan in previous life, has been a bit more open about it on her corporate account. In 3.5 months after her debut she only followed Pomu and liked one of her tweets. In two weeks since Hana's graduations she liked some NijiID tweet, a NijiJP song release, and some Pomu tweets.

HoloEN2 had very little speculah in this board until debut. Most people didn't even want to discuss it because they thought they would all be mostly talents from outside the vtuber/streaming scene. I remember this board being pretty convinced in Hana Flores being in, and Shachimu after the penguin was confirmed to not be her.

It's still to early to speculate on who could be in the male wave, the only name that gets tossed around a lot is Codename Tora, who was in Elira and Pomu's old circle. We'll probably see more non-vtubers or vtuber-adjacent, people like ItsNickster (Apex streamer/YouTuber that also reviews vtuber/CR Apex clips and VODs to make tip videos, though I doubt he even auditioned, I'm just using him as an example)

By the way, many people noted that owl's and Petra's voices are very similar, which even led me to a trippy theory that Shachi played everyone and became both Petra and owl at the same time. But that's not all. Current owl's voice is very similar to Petra's early voice, but right before HoloEN2 debut, Petra's voice changed a bit and became more confident and expressive.

Yeah, Anycolor definitely has an overall plan with recruitment and designs, unlike HoloEN which has pretty much made their lore a clusterfuck between Myth and Council. Albeit, I don't understand why Obsydia was supposed to be the evil part of LazuLight when all three of them are the most bulliable girls in NijiEN and two of the designs aren't closely related to being "bad"

Kiara’s design is ugly and I’d argue the voice that would fit that model should be lower but since the model as a annoying looking face she fits the role. But yeah I’d say everyone else in HoloCouncil fits except Fuana and maybe Mumei. Agreed on Council, Mumei makes me question what happened to her if she was Sachi because they are nothing alike. The thing with Hana is that her retirement was all of sudden right after the nijiEN auddition ended, and from the way she worded it she probadly will reincarnate somewhere.
But where? Kawaii maybe joined the game late but they are still at the level of other middle size agency like PRISM, Tsunderia so it will be at somewhere above those agencies or the reincarnate makes no sense, which meant only Holo, Vshoujo, Niji fit the criteria, Holo was outed, she retired too early for Vshoujo audition, there's some odd about the timing but Niji fits the most in her timeline. Well, if there's no notable talent retires from now up to Octorber then she definitely is in as we have 4 possible candidates.

There is no point in retiring a chuuba for either the company or for the talent unless they are being contracted by some other company. If Hana found some lucrative IRL job and would be too busy to regularly stream because of it they could just put her on hiatus and get her to stream in some big events (see Sukoya). Kawaii doesn't lose one of its founding members and Hana can make pocket money by streaming for a couple of hours once a month. Everyone wins. She also framed her graduation in a way that suggested that she is moving on to something bigger. I doubt that it would apply to 9 to 5 accounting or something.
Now, she could have become a singer. I think that's unlikely. Maybe some flans can correct me, but from what I've seen she wasn't terribly interested in a career in music. She can sing but she didn't do a whole lot of archived utawaku or covers and in her graduation karaoke she was just fucking around at least half the time. There was a chuuba in Nijisanji who graduated to become a professional singer. She did serious utawaku all the time and released covers more often than once a month.

I was thinking that Nijisanji hopefully won't be too strict about letting their EN members collab within the indie scene, but I wonder if it'd be too connected to their previous identities. It'd be a nice thought if they could "meet again" with the new reincarnation.
