I don’t contribute to her fanbase
I only give her 5 bucks every month and buy any merch she releases but that’s no way to show how much I admire her
I can’t make fanart because I can’t draw
I can’t cosplay cause I'm a dude

good advice but doesn't go deep enough. the envy part is actually jealousy, because chuubas will inevitably pay more attention and such to whales than other fans, even if they profess not to. you add the gachikoi/gosling phenomena on top of that, and there you have it.

Use your oshi as motivation to get good at something.

If you can’t draw, start learning to so one day she can see it, or make a fan game, or anything really. Even a fan letter. Use that love as a starting point to push you forward.

Or just get money and start whaling I don’t know anon
