>>90941171It's basically the same in the USA, credit cards, as long as you don't overspend like a retard, have nearly 0 drawbacks. If you buy something and it doesn't arrive or is broken, and the vendor refuses to play, you can at least try to negotiate with the card and get it removed.
Once I went to a bar with friends and got a "complimentary" tip charge of like $30 added to my card, when I noted nothing on the receipt. Luckily I kept the receipt afterwards and showed I had not added anything to my purchase, and it was removed from the charge the next day.
