I think youtube has the right position to successfully challenge twitch as a serious livestreaming platform, and with the people they're bringing on, a fanbase to do it.
Youtube also isn't acting them to go to a brand new website like mixer is, a lot of fans of people already went to their youtube channels for VODs, so its familiar territory.
