Content creators and influencers from the very begging have thrived on collaborations and associations. Simply put, you tune into one talent, you're more likely to tune into another. An audience that may have skipped out on other Hololive events planned this week might have changed their mind after seeing Gura stream today. Even Pekomiko streaming Miside at the exact same time as each other -- this was beneficial to both of them, it generated a way larger buzz and interest in Hololive than if they played it at separate times. Both of them are elevated by it.
They're literally not competing with each other. One talent's success means a higher likelihood of another talents success. Gura streaming generates interest for everyone else, it doesn't detract from it at all.
