They're video game movies before anything else, there's no real plot outside of making Sonic and Eggman fight at the end while introducing the characters and having them interact throughout, Jim Carey carries, they have some funny moments and the visuals are good, most video game movies are trash but Sonic movies are good and what they should look like, again a lot of that is on Jim Carey, haven't watched 3 yet
