and yeah, i don't really care about layouts anymore. i tried xmonad and awesome, i don't like how complicated the setup process is compared to bspwm. i'll just stick with it for now.
gonna post my current desktop while we're at it, lazily shot. it's still pretty much the same as before but i reconfigured the entirety of my setup, it was a mess. i also changed my terminal to alacritty, kitty's long startup time got into my nerves.
