>>2225043Less things happen compared to the anime (haven't finished the manga so I can't compare it much to that), but it's overall darker. It is told entirely from Satous pov. Many of the comedic scenes in the anime where you laugh at Satou's expense are now more depressing as you see it happening through his eyes. Compared to the anime and what I've read from the manga, it focuses much more on Satou's psychology. I'm pretty sure that Yamazaki and Misaki are the only other named characters, but I may be wrong. His senpai appears, but she has a much smaller role now. I would honestly recommend the novel, it's a pretty good read, and while they're not apart of the story the afterwords are a fascinating insight to the creator of WttNHK's state of mind.
