I DO have a critique, which I hope you'll take constructively.
A drop-shadow indicates depth. The larger the distance between the front object and the surface the shadow falls upon, the larger the offset should be.
You have to remember this when several objects are "stacked" if you want to maintain the illusion.
In this case, the figure casts a shadow on the lettering AND on the background. So the shadow-widths should be different. Whereas the text shadows ONLY the background. Hard to explain in words but the illustration should make this clear.
