For file explorer neither Open Shell or StartisBack actually work, those are mainly for the start menu themeing. OpenShell does have SOME file explorer functionality, but mostly it just confused me so I disabled that portion of it.
I then started to look into windows themes using UltraUXThemePatcher or SecureUXTheme (chose former)
And that gave me so many options for custom file explorer themes and just general look of windows10.
Still got issues with the icons at the bottom and tray stuff but I can manage. I just really don't want to start using shortcuts as I want the icons to disappear when they're not running.
