I'm also talking about Death (true)^2, not Death as in Death & Rebirth (though they are mostly the same)
It's hard to describe, but it combines many scenes in new ways as well as edits them differently. It's not just purely re-used raw footage. Also Shinji, Asuka, Rei and Kaworu all play music together. There is also some redrawn scenes, so if you like Rei like I do they redrew the scene from Episode 06 and it's way better imo.
it's pretty much split up by characters, where each section is focused on one character, or the relationship of two characters
