None of the wallpaper boards want it. /w/ will not take it because it's technically not anime and /wg/ will not take it because it looks like anime. Basically it sits in limbo trying to find a place where nobody wants it. What is needed is a ruling from either a mod or moot on where Avatar belongs. It's basically becoming what Tokusatsu is to /m/ or WWE is to /sp/.
