I've been getting into card games lately, and the idea of printing custom anime-themed playmats never occurred to me before now. (I have thought about custom fightstick art, though)
Has anyone ever done something like this? Aside from actually choosing which series/character to use on the playmat, I'm not sure which would look nicer - a clean, simple vector or a highly detailed image. I suppose the print quality would be the same as those mousepads from a couple years ago? They're essentially giant mousepads

If anyone's ever done this before, how did yours turn out? (also if you have an idea for a wallpaper that might turn out well as a playmat, feel free to post it)
