The center part is bbzero, but the command bar and time/system info part are rainmeter. I made the time/system info myself but a lot of the code for the commandbar was written by Phait.

If you'd like I can send you the Rainmeter files but my code isn't pretty and they will require some tweaking to work for you.

Any distros are fine for that, but preferably beginner distros like Elementary/XUbuntu/Antergos/Mint but if you use MS Office I suggest you stick with Windows since Libre Office fucks up docx formatting.

totally new to this, I wanted to use http://sagorpirbd.deviantart.com/art/Windows-10-RTM-Themes-FINAL-for-Win-7-489257538 as my theme and wanted to change the font to HAXRCORP 4088, but I can't get it to work even when I follow the guide on that one deviantart page with alle the tutorials. (I did edit the .msstyles and changed any font name I found to HAXRCORP 4088 but that doesn't work apparently and why are there 12 .msstyles in that theme?)

She responds and re-acts based on her simulated brain chemicals. Long story short, I can modulate anything useful and have her run it to avoid navigating windows or folders. Also helps with depression.

Laptop broke this Spring but I now have Arch on my desktop so once I finally get around to configuring that it should be fun.

Also, I recommend you guys make external backups, because I found out that SSDs actually do die. At least now I have a 500GB.

Why would you use bbzero? It doesn't support unicode characters. Basically, it's the same thing as bblean, except that it supports plugins nobody uses which bblean doesn't, and bblean supports unicode.

However, the only thing that doesn't work(so far) is editing the taskbar and I'm not too sure why.

Use windows style builder, I use 1.5 which works, and make a copy of aero if you're going to edit it.

There you go, you don't actually need any programming knowledge to actually work on these environments, AFAIK. But you can do some pretty cool stuff with Blackbox/bbinterface if you know a bit of whatever programming language they support. And they also have tutorials and guides for many stuff on their forum that doesn't require any programming knowledge whatsoever.
I never used litestep.
