I'm 41 days post op after shattering my right humerus into seven pieces. I can just now do sets of 10 arm and shoulder exercises with a 5lb dumbbell. I was wallowing in self pity for weeks when I couldn't so much as straighten my fingers without giving them a boost with my left hand, but I'm slowly starting to come out of it. It's the fist time I've experienced proper pain and hardship and it's humbling. Hell it might even be good for me.
