When it comes down to it, companies billing you want your money, so they like to help you pay it (like if your electricity is going to be late, you can often call them and be like my dudes what can you do for me) and there's lots of resources to help noobs at tax and stuff.
It's stupid-hard to do, of course, because the brain doesn't switch off, but try to just worry about one thing at a time. Like if you're worried about your girlfriend, forget your job and your house and stuff for just a minute and maybe leave her a cute note on her dresser to let her know you're thinkin' of her. Then you can go worry about something else and see if there's something little you can do to chip away at that instead (shoebox for your tax reciepts? Shoebox for your tax reciepts.)
