Easy to chill in, always a short distance away from mountains and millenia old forests with old temples dotted around them
Convenience stores are a godsend, and people are nice
I guess the worst side of it is actually working there
The paperwork and the lack of individuality in the workplace is pretty bad, but it's not an issue if you're visiting (except if you've got a VISA and want to stay long term in a few places, you'll have to go to the townhall and fill in some really complicated forms, you better have someone that speaks japanese with you, cause the staff never does)
