>>7622860It can be rough, man. Now that I'm not a young adult, anymore, I think a lot about all of the people that believed we'd be friends forever and always around. I think a lot about one in particular, that old familiar "she was my best friend, then she was my partner, now we don't talk" refrain, but I'm not lonely, and I don't miss her like I used to, I just kinda feel sad that such a significant chapter of my life could so completely evaporate, as though it never existed at all.
Hold tight to friends and value them, because while they're here today, they might not be, tomorrow, and you don't know how much that hurts until you know what it feels like to never be able to talk to them again.
