Not sure what to do next, or if it's too late.
I just graduated with a Bachelor's in Computer Science, and gotten not even a phone call from dozens of applications. Turns out without a cousin working at Google or 5+ years experience, the "shortage of coders" doesn't really exist. That, and I'm probably just worse at software development than I thought.
My student apartment lease is up, I wanted to move cities but I don't have a job. I have a month to find something, otherwise its back to mom and dads.
My girlfriend lives with me, but she's unemployed. I love her, but I've been thinking of splitting up. With her around, I can't seem to push myself like I did when I was single. God knows if I don't do something I'll end up an hero. But I know that the stability of her is too tempting, I'll stick around until it gets worse and worse.
What does /wg/ think? Just thinking out loud, and I encourage you to do the same
