This is going to sound selfish, but I'm jealous of everyone who know/got to know their grandparents. I wish I could say I have fond memories of my grandparents, but I don't really have any. I have some memories of my grandmother, but I have maybe 1 or 2 truly fond ones of when she was in the nursing home. I didn't really get to know her either, since she died on the day before my 7th birthday. I didn't get to know any other grandparents because they all passed before I was a thought in my parents heads. I was the last child that my other grandmother got to meet, but she died when I was 2 months old.
