>>7210747>The prequels were focused on the wrong character for the serriesI disagree. Star Wars was always the story of the skywalkers, so making the story about Vader was just fine. The story behind the prequels is also fantastic, but in many instances it is just told poorly, because George wanted to do something new instead of just copying the OT. While the prequels have a great many flaws, they still feel like Star Wars movies and have a lot of redeeming qualities, which is not something you can say about the sequels.
Even if you didn't like the prequels, which is perfectly fine, you still have to admit that they spawned some of Star Wars's most iconic moments, characters and other pieces of media, all the while bringing Star Wars to a new generation, and that they at least tried to to something new and interesting.
