Successful career, married w/ kids, house, cars, etc. Trite though it may sound, by the time I had achieved the dream, I realized it was someone else's. I've spent a couple years trying to find a proper meaning in my life given my current encumberment. I'm not there yet, but it's getting better.
Don't just do what your parents or society expects of you, but if you find yourself in a situation you don't like, don't give up. I'd have to be an incredible bitch to think that my material-rich life is "miserable". Just adjust course, stay fit, and keep going.
