You'll obviously need to find something to bide your time, and I would recommend getting out of your college town ASAP or you're going to get stuck there and become that weird graduated guy who still goes to college parties and shit. Especially if your girlfriend is there making things comfortable for you.
What work experience DO you have? When I was in your shoes, I got work at a bar in a new city to get away and start fresh. Does it pay well? nah not really - unless you can bartend and then you'll do ok.
If you don't like where you're at, do anything you can to change it and you'll be thanking yourself later.
